Gresser was founded in 1969 by Mike C. and Joan Gresser in the basement of their home in Eagan, Minnesota. Mike, a bricklayer by trade, performed all operational aspects of the company in the early years. Joan was responsible for bookkeeping and administration.
Over the ensuing decades, Gresser has grown to be one of the nation’s largest and most respected concrete and masonry contractors, employing the very best. In 2001, their son Michael J. purchased the company. Born in 1932, Mike C. remained active in the company and often visited job sites until his passing in 2023.
